The Materials Writers Special Interest Group (MW SIG) of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) invites textbook authors, IT developers, and other materials creators to participate in our ongoing online event series, Meet the Maker (MtM). This series features live presentations and interviews with textbook authors, app designers, game developers, and other innovators in educational materials.

JALT Sponsors, such as publishers or distributors, may support an individual presenter, or independent authors may represent themselves. JALT Sponsors are encouraged to contact their authors by forwarding this invitation letter and inform them of this opportunity.
The event is divided into two parts: in the first half, the presenter showcases their work, offering a unique opportunity to speak directly to English teachers across Japan. We recommend focusing on one product or series, rather than a broad range of materials. The second half features an interview with an MW SIG Officer, exploring the creative process and business aspects of the materials.
The MtM series is a platform that benefits educators, students, publishers, and authors alike. We invite you to join us in making your product and the MtM series a great success.

本イベントは二部構成となっております。
第一部では、登壇者による教材の紹介プレゼンテーションを行い、全国の英語教員に向けて直接発信する貴重な機会となっております。プレゼンでは、教材全般ではなく、1つの教材またはシリーズに絞ったご紹介を推奨しております。
第二部では、MW SIGの役員によるインタビューを行い、制作過程や教材に関連するビジネス面について掘り下げてまいります。
MtMは、教育者、学習者、出版社、そして著者の皆様にとって有益なプラットフォームです。ぜひ貴教材および本イベントの成功にご協力いただければ幸いです。
