Thank you for your support and participating in the 50th JALT Conference in Yoyogi. We would like to send you some housekeeping procedures to check before you come to the venue next week.
Indico conference registering system. As you know, this is the first year we are using this system to streamline and modernize our conference registering system. We understand there have been some misunderstandings along the way, we apologize for that. We have 4 items we would like you to check:
1. Presentation participants must have an Indico account to be linked to the presentation. Make sure all of your presentation participants have made an account. This helps attendees find you.
2. If a Sponsor is a JALT member AND a JALT Sponsor. Please add all of your email addresses to your Indico profile. Some sponsors have a JALT membership email address that is different from their JALT Sponsor email address. The Indico system can accommodate multiple email addresses for one name. Make sure this information is up to date.
3. Privacy of your information on the Indico system. Currently ALL Sponsors have a level 2 privacy associated with their account. This means that the following information:
a. First name, last name, and affiliation can be viewed by registered attendees to the conference.
b. There is no mailing address or email shown.
c. The system can also offer Level 1: no information visible to anyone, or Level 3: information is shown both to registered attendees and to the public.
4. Please remember, you are assigned a Level 2 at this time. If you are satisfied with this level, you do not have to do anything. If you want to change this setting, please log into the JALT Conference Indico system and change your personal setting. Here is a video (<- Link) to help you with the process. There is no deadline for this procedure.
5. Your Presentation Website: Each presentation at the JALT conference has a unique page. Since your name and email address is associated with this page, you can upload your slides, other files or resources, website links, or images (for example your business card) to this page for all attendees to see. Managing the information associated with your presentation page is entirely up to you as to how much additional information you would like to add. Documents and other file formats are also OK, PDFs and presentation materials, etc. Links can be attached as well, to websites, videos, or other online resources that a Sponsor might want to make available.
Here is a sample and step by step instructions to add materials/links:
Presentation pages list the presenter names and affiliations. Under this is “Presentation Materials” (available to all attendees).
Click on the Pencil Icon on the right to add Presentation Materials.
In this example, links are shown. You can upload files or add a link. (upper right, click the desired addition). Below the user can choose “Upload files” or “Add link”.
You can drag and drop files and then click Upload.
When attendees access this Presentation page, they can access all of the links or documents you have uploaded. “Protected” means that only JALT Conference attendees can access this information. Please do not touch this setting.
The addition of Presentation Materials is up to the discretion of the Sponsor.

この度はJALT2025年次国際大会へのご支援をいただき、誠にありがとうございます。来週の開会に先立ち、いくつかの事前確認事項をお知らせいたします。
■ Indico登録システムについて
ご存じの通り、今年からIndico登録システムを導入し、大会登録の効率化を図っています。導入に際しいくつかの誤解が生じましたことをお詫び申し上げます。以下の4点についてご確認をお願いいたします。
- プレゼンテーション参加者のIndicoアカウント作成
プレゼンテーションに紐づけるため、参加者全員にIndicoアカウントを作成していただく必要があります。参加者がアカウントを持っていることで、来場者が皆様の情報を見つけやすくなります。 - JALT会員かつJALTスポンサーである場合のメールアドレス登録
Indicoプロフィールに、お持ちのメールアドレスをすべて追加してください。JALT会員用とスポンサー用で異なるメールアドレスを使用している方もいらっしゃいますが、Indicoでは1名に複数のメールアドレスを登録可能です。情報が最新であることをご確認ください。 - Indico上の情報公開レベルについて
現在、すべてのスポンサーには「プライバシーレベル2」が設定されています。これは以下の情報が、大会に登録した参加者にのみ表示されるということを意味します。
a. お名前（名・姓）と所属
b. メールアドレスや郵送先住所は表示されません
c. ご希望によっては情報を誰にも表示しない「レベル1」、登録者および一般公開する「レベル3」も選択可能です。その場合は「4.プライバシーレベルの変更について」をご参照ください。 - プライバシーレベルの変更について
現在の「レベル2」でご満足いただける場合は特に操作は不要です。変更をご希望の場合は Indicoシステムにログインし、個人設定を変更してください。設定方法の動画（添付）もご用意していますのでご参照ください。なお、この手続きに締め切りはありません。 - プレゼンテーションページについて
JALT大会では、各プレゼンテーションに固有のウェブページが用意されています。発表者のお名前とメールアドレスがこのページに紐づいているため、スライド、資料、リンク、画像（名刺など）をアップロードすることができます。どの程度の情報を追加するかは、スポンサーの皆様の裁量にお任せします。PDFや発表スライドなどのファイル形式にも対応可能です。ウェブサイト、動画、その他のオンラインリソースへのリンクも添付できます。
以下は、資料やリンクの追加方法の例です。
– プレゼンテーションページには、発表者名と所属が表示されます。- その下に「Presentation Materials（参加者全員が閲覧可能）」があります。
– 右側の鉛筆アイコンをクリックして資料を追加してください。
– 「ファイルをアップロード」または「リンクを追加」を選択できます。
– ファイルはドラッグ＆ドロップでアップロード可能です。
– 参加者がこのページにアクセスすると、アップロードされたリンクや資料を閲覧できます。
– 「Protected」と赤字で表示されています。これはJALT大会参加者のみが閲覧可能で有ることを示しています。この設定は変更しないでください。
– 資料の追加はスポンサーの皆様の判断にお任せします。
