Hiroshima JALT 2024 Conference

Hiroshima JALT is delighted to announce its 2024 Conference, which will take place on Friday, December 13 to Saturday, December 14 at Eikei University of Hiroshima, Noborimachi, Hiroshima City. The Linguapax Asia 2024 International Symposium will also be held on December 14-15 at the same venue.
The conference will focus on the themes of professional development and learner development and will feature a plenary from Jennie Roloff Rothman and Adrianne Uchida Verla, editors of the 2023 Candlin & Mynard book: Cultivating Professional Development Through Critical Friendship and Reflective Practice: Cases From Japan.
We would like to know if you would be interested in displaying your materials on Saturday, December 14. The conference will be open from 8:30 am to 6:30pm.
Participation for JALT Sponsors will be 5,000 yen per display table (or a sponsorship). This fee will include a 30-minute presentation slot. The deadline for confirmation is Saturday, November 16, 2024, but as usual, we’ll allocate table space preference in order of confirmation of participation, so don’t delay if you want the best spot in the room!
We would also welcome possible sponsorships in the form of any of the following:
- a welcome event on Friday evening (which, of course, you are warmly invited to join!)
- refreshments during the conference
- student interns
