JALT2023 Some Useful Statistics for Your Unvetted Presentations (sent on May 22, 2023)

Thank you for submitting your proposals for unvetted presentations. We apologize for the post-submission announcement, but we have gathered some useful data that we would like to share with you (please see below). If you have already submitted your proposals and would like to change the title of your presentation(s), please let us know via email by Friday, June 2. Also, if you have not yet submitted your unvetted presentation proposals, please do so via the online form by June 2.

For the 2023 Tsukuba Conference:

 

FYI, here is a breakdown of accepted presentations by content area and by context. (295 were accepted, 7 canceled, leaving 288 accepted currently.)

 

By content, there is a good spread across the 13 content areas. The content area with the highest number of accepted presentations (Language skills) is 12% of all accepted presentations, the fewest (Other Learners & Contexts) is 2.5%.

 

By context, however, College & University Education dominates (73% of all accepted submissions.)
