The JALT Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Special Interest Group (SIG) is happy to announce its upcoming annual conference, Remote Teaching and Beyond. We have decided to make JALTCALL2021 an online conference. The conference will be virtually on the web at

The JALTCALL SIG members would like to invite your representatives to take part in our online 2021 Conference. This annual international event is an excellent opportunity to share your items with an interested audience. We are expecting to draw more than 300 participants based on last year’s online conference figures.

Please note the Eventzilla system is a templating system so we can offer no customization beyond what the templates allow as seen in the above image, and the exact form of the templates may change slightly. Eventzilla will be adding social links such as Twitter, Facebook in the blue area. AMs will need to supply the images and text in advance that they would like to be uploaded to the system. We will assist you with this ensuring the images are the correct size etc.
We advise that you make use of links within the text. This can help raise your ranking on Google especially if the links are contextual. “We have a wide range of ESL materials … ” is preferable to “Please click here for more info”.
Note that the templating does allow a degree of customization such as a full width image above the text rather than beside it. You may like to design a single image to essentially customize your page like thisbearing in mind though the image can only have a single link.
Note: All sponsors will have a breakout room within the Zoom Social Space. The host will encourage people to enter.

Custom pages: It is possible to have a customized page outside the template system that Eventzilla will build for you, and this will be charged at standard web design rates (approx. 8,000yen/hour).
A YouTube video option will be available. Prices and availability will be decided at a future date.
