TESOL International and JALT are joining forces to present the 2020 TESOL/JALT International Mind, Brain, and Language Education Symposium. This highly anticipated event will be co-sponsored by TESOL, JALT, the JALT Mind, Brain, and Education SIG, and supported by the JALT Kyoto chapter. The event will be held at Kyoto Sangyo University on June 20th and 21st, 2020. As an esteemed Associate Member of JALT, we would like you to join us for this event. 

The two-day conference will feature global leaders in the field of neuroscience and psychology. Plenary speakers have been chosen from around the world for their excellence in developing the field. 

On June 20th, TESOL will feature international experts. 

On June 21st, JALT’s Mind Brain Education SIG will feature specialists mostly based in Japan. 
We are offering you a chance to join us on June 21st for one day of displaying.
This is a JALT sanctioned event that will count toward JALT AM Sponsorship points, so we encourage you to maximize your contribution. This offer is only available to JALT Associate Members.

Logo placement on participants’ name tags

Full page ad in the conference app

Registration Voucher for 2 representatives (a presenter counts as 1 representative)

One 25-minute unvetted slot for a presenter

Cost : 10,000 yen per table per day (June 21st, 2020)

For each extra representative, the fee will be ¥5,000

Additional tables are also possible to rent for the same cost. Each additional table entitles the AM to two additional representatives.

Our advertising campaign includes spots in the The Language Teacher, on Facebook, on Twitter, and distribution to all JALT chapters and SIGs. Furthermore, the conference will be featured on the TESOL and JALT homepages.  

Important dates:
November 1, 2019 – January 30, 2020: AM Sponsorship application
February 1, 2020: Final Sponsorship payment due

June 21, 2020: JALT TESOL Symposium
