One-Day EFL Research Conference
“Moving Towards Sustainable Education”

The Teacher Development SIG of JALT has prepared our first face-to-face conference since 2020 and will hold it in Hakodate, Hokkaido on February 17, 2024.
As one of the largest SIGs in the JALT research group, we have a large membership and continue to put on excellent events. Currently, we are communicating with various research groups and promoting the event via regional Hakodate associations to welcome speakers and attendees for presenting or viewing. We expect a good number of guests and hope to have associate members publishers in attendance to share their recent textbooks and educational materials.
There will be display tables in the main open space located in between the two corridors of the presentation rooms. Each table can be rented for ¥30,000 for the day’s conference.

Alternatively, for those who wish to have a presentation slot and table space, this option is ¥40,000.

Finally, to support our conference as a sponsor with your name on our publicity, opening, and closing ceremonies, there is a nominal ¥10,000 contribution.

Although we have only a few months remaining before the day, there is still plenty of time to book a table or presentation. Please let us know by January 15th, if possible, to ensure your place in the schedule.
